Distraction Overview

In 2023, a fresh dancehall drop called the Distraction Riddim hit the streets, bringing new energy to dancehall sessions. The riddim came out of Jamaica’s vibrant studio scene, showing off the raw street flavor that keeps dancehall alive. The set features a strong lineup. Birdman Jr1ne stands out with "Attitude," bringing his unique style to the track. Iceberg delivers "Eagle Fly Out," adding his own touch to the riddim. Jubby Child’s "Money and Guns" gives a gritty edge, while Laden, known for his hit "Time to Shine" from the early 2010s, brings sharp lyrics with "Fake Account." Lawdgad, who has made waves in recent years, drops "Who Dem," adding to the riddim’s variety. Behind the scenes, the sound engineer crafted a clean, punchy mix, letting each artist’s voice and style shine through. The project was produced by Kholtan Entertainment, Warning Records, and Ma.Hrs. Warning Records, a label with a history of supporting dancehall talent, has helped launch several artists into the spotlight. Kholtan Entertainment and Ma.Hrs also played key roles in bringing this project together, ensuring high production quality and a polished final release.
