By 2014, Di Jugglin Riddim was riding a clean, straight-ahead reggae groove with just enough swing in the percussion to keep it moving, and Rom Productions kept the setup tight with seven cuts and no wasted space. Dean Fraser’s title tune sets the tone with that seasoned horn-player feel, then Mr Vegas brings a rougher edge on “Fight” and Tarrus Riley smooths things out on “She’S That Girl, ” which feels like the one that really lingers. The rest of the lineup — Dejah, G Blunt, Natel and Nicky B — keeps the riddim lively without crowding it, so the project plays like a compact showcase rather than a bloated compilation. It ends on Tarrus Riley’s sweeter turn, and that last track leaves the whole thing with a softer, more melodic finish.
