Bread Back Productions’ Dancehall Alert Riddim sits neatly in the label’s early-2010s dancehall run, and it’s cut with the kind of clipped, street-level energy that suits a quick-fire various-artist set. The project landed in 2011 and pulls in nine tracks, with Sizzla’s “Ananda Alert, ” Lutan Fyah’s “Case Again, ” and Delly Ranx’s “Make You Proud” doing most of the heavy lifting. Bread Back had already been working with names like Sizzla a few years earlier, so this doesn’t feel like a one-off reach as much as another stop in a relationship the camp was building.
