Amazon Riddim came out in 2011 from Hyyype Muzik and Portmore Society, two names tied to the hard-edged, street-facing side of modern Jamaican dancehall. Portmore Society is best known as a Portmore-based entertainment collective, and that local energy comes through here in a project that feels made for dancefloors, sound systems, and quick-fire juggling.

The riddim itself runs on a bright, clipped groove with enough low-end pressure to keep it moving, but the real appeal is the way it leaves space for voices to cut through.
