Rich Affiliates’ Current Situation Riddim arrived in 2023 as a roots-forward reggae juggling with a conscious edge and a polished digital finish. The version sits at a mid-tempo 86 BPM on the commercial release, which gives the whole set an easy rolling pulse rather than a hard bashment push. It is credited to Rich Affiliates Ent. LLC alongside Poundin Da Pavement Inc. and AC Muzyk LLC, and the release date lines up as May 12, 2023.

The cast is strong and very deliberately chosen. Luciano brings the righteous, sermon-like tone he has carried for decades, while Pressure Busspipe adds his St. Thomas fire and plainspoken uplift. Spragga Benz gives the riddim a sharper dancehall contrast, Tanya Stephens keeps things rooted in reality with her no-nonsense writing, and Wayne Wonder lends the set a smoother melodic touch.
