Chiney Wine Riddim – Nokkinz Music

Nokkinz Music’s Chiney Wine Riddim came through in late 2018 with a tight 11-track dancehall set that sits around the mid-tempo, wine-ready pocket suggested by the title, with enough bounce for the party but enough room for the deejays to work their lines. Khanquer’s “24 Boxes, ” Kibauney’s “All Ghetto Gal, ” and Swell G’s “Good Body Gal” lean into the flashy, body-talk side of the theme, while Passowasso, Recky P, and Yaady Animal push the riddim toward streetwise chatter and dance-floor provocation. Trim Dizzle’s “3d Wine” and Vervbalist’s “Why Dem So Evil” keep the energy edgy rather than playful, which gives the project a bit more bite than a straight bashment loop.
