Bus Stop Riddim keeps the frame tight and the mood in motion, a four-cut soca set from 2008 that pairs Bunji Garlin’s “Banana” with Fay Ann Lyons on “Heavy T” and leaves the instrumentals in the mix like checkpoints between the vocals. It’s a compact release, but the sequencing gives it a nice back-and-forth feel, with Bunji’s cut setting the pace before Fay Ann comes in with the sharper hook and a little more bite. The riddim credit is simply listed to Various Soca Artists, which fits the no-frills approach here: two singers, two versions, and just enough space for each tune to land cleanly.
