HM Management and Publishing’s BRT Riddim sits neatly in the company’s 2017 dancehall run, with a bright, forward-driving groove that leaves room for both party talk and tougher street-side chatter. Konshens’ “How Mi Feel Now” and Gyptian’s “The Way She Whine” catch the ear first, while Kerwin Du Bois leans into the celebratory side on “Life Is A Party” and Shane O brings the sharper edge on “La La La. ” The rhythm has that rolling, mid-tempo bounce that lets the voicing do the work, and Hans-Peter Mullings’ title cut ties the whole thing back to the project’s own identity.
