In 2001, a new reggae sound called Broken Heart Riddim arrived from Jamaica. This roots riddim brought together classic reggae style with a fresh, modern touch. The producer behind it was SPRAGGA ROOTS, known for working with many artists and helping to keep roots reggae alive in the new millennium.
