Sizzla and Messenger Selah are the names that pull you in here, and their “Joy” cut sits right in the centre of this 2001 321 String production with the kind of rootsy pressure that still feels alive: warm bass, clipped drums and a steady, city-traffic pulse under the vocals. Richie Spice and Snatcha Dog’s “Plant A Tree” leans into conscious uplift, Yami Bolo goes straight at “Babylon Burning, ” and Jazwad’s version keeps the riddim stripped back so the singer-focused cuts can breathe.
