Braff Riddim – Romeich Entertainment

Braff Riddim comes from Romeich Entertainment in 2018, and it sits right in the middle of the label’s dancehall push that helped turn Romeich Major’s camp into a recognizable force. By then, Romeich had Shenseea, Ding Dong and TeeJay in the orbit, and that mixture of street energy and radio reach gave the project a ready-made pull. The riddim itself has that brisk, playful late-2010s dancehall feel: sharp drums, a bouncing groove, and enough space for both catchy hooks and patois-heavy toasting.

Shenseea’s Trending Gyal is the cut that gives the set its clearest identity. She was already moving as one of the most visible young voices in Jamaican music, and here she rides the beat with a confident, money-minded anthem that talks up independence and bad-gal swagger. Teejay and Ding Dong’s Braff is the other centerpiece, and it plays to both men’s strengths: Teejay’s smooth Montego Bay delivery and Ding Dong’s dance-led charisma lock into a party chant about flossing, style and forward motion. That pairing gives the riddim a real cross-island balance.

Kash’s Mek Wi Party pushes the set deeper into pure session music, while Iamstylezmusic’s Chip Ice and Flamz’s Life fill out the juggling with different shades of bravado and everyday flex. Romeich Entertainment also handles the production, and the release appeared on November 13, 2018. It’s a short catalog piece, but one that captures the Romeich sound at a moment when the camp was moving with real momentum.
