Citizen K Productions lines up JaSoul, Iakopo, I-Shadrock, Dakeye and Black Ice on a compact set released in November 2011, and the sweetest connection is between JaSoul’s smooth “Breathe” and Kevin Brown’s own “Between the Sheets, ” where the producer steps forward with a bass-led, jazzy rewrite of his earlier cut. Iakopo’s “Be With Me” leans into the riddim’s softer side, while I-Shadrock brings a neat family-minded touch on “Luv U Mama”; even the version at the end feels like part of the statement, not just a bonus.
