Prospect Riddim lands in that warm, roots-conscious reggae pocket where the message is front and center, with I Wayne’s “Plant More Trees” setting the tone and Luciano teaming with Spectacular on “Fire Bun The Baber” for the most commanding cut on the set. House Of Congress kept the 2011 production lean and vocal-driven, so the riddim never gets in the way of the singers; instead it leaves room for Jah Niceness on “Upliftment Time” and Ras Oney’s “All Night” to move with plenty of space and emphasis.
