Good Heart Riddim (2011) – Sms Production

Good Heart Riddim has that warm, rootsy 2011 reggae pull, the kind of one-riddim set that leans more on feel than flash, with SMS Production keeping the groove steady across a surprisingly deep lineup. Droop Lion’s “Strength” brings the message front and center, while Natural Black’s “Never Say Never” adds a more reflective touch, and Esco Levi’s “King Of Kings” gives the project one of its sharper, more spiritual turns. There’s a nice spread here too, from Jah Be’s devotional “God Mi Love You” to Shane O’s wary “Mi No Trust Friend, ” so the riddim never gets stuck in one mood for too long. Released in November 2011, it sits right in that period when conscious reggae compilations still had room to breathe and let the singers carry the weight.
