Blaze Up keeps things tight: three songs, three voices, and no wasted motion. K. Licious Records leans into straight-ahead dancehall here, with Dre Zee opening on the title cut, then pairing back up with Italist on “It’s Really This, ” a cut that gives the riddim a little more lift without drifting from the core groove. Malica’s “My Level” closes it out with the most assured finish, the kind of tune that settles in quickly and leaves the strongest mark.
