Jermaine Cowan’s “I Am More Than A Conqueror” gives this 2012 RB Records set its strongest lift, with the rest of the cast keeping close to a clean, gospel-leaning dancehall pulse that sits somewhere between testimony and street talk. La Twain’s “Must Be A Way Out” and Claudius England’s “Most High Bless Me” lean into the same faith-forward mood, while Ryan Mark’s “Nutten” and Minister Blessed’s “Conquer Dat” add a sharper edge. RB Records keeps the riddim compact and direct, and the 10-track set runs just about 30 minutes, so there’s no fat on it. Compared with the label’s later “Grave Clothes” material, this one feels a little rawer and more overtly devotional, a neat snapshot of where RB was in that early-2010s gospel-dancehall pocket.
