Low-end pressure and a slightly rugged bounce carry Black Dog Riddim, a 2021 Biggionthetrack production that keeps the drums tight and the melody lean while leaving plenty of room for the voices. El Génah’s “Bubble” and Leerod Banton’s “Le fruit” push the sharper, more direct side of the project, while Lov’Nee’s “Bweuh” and the Jah Boy/Maylan Manaza pairing on “Give Me This” add a smoother, more melodic swing.
