2004 was peak-bounce dancehall, when the big selectors were still riding raw vocal cuts and quick, punchy riddims that could light up a sound clash in a minute. Bad Man Ting Riddim sits right in that pocket, with Beenie Man’s “One For Me (Raw)” and Elephant Man’s “Dont Bow (Raw)” doing the heavy lifting: both tracks lean into that brash, uptempo street energy the era loved, while Macka Diamond’s “Call Out My Name (Clean)” brings a sharper, more playful edge to the same rhythm. Nicky B’s “No Matter What They Say” keeps the momentum rolling, and the bare version track lets the riddim’s shape speak for itself. It’s a compact little set, five tracks deep, and very much of its moment.
