Authentic Jab Riddim is a 2017 soca release from Adigun Productions and Salty Soundz, centered on a short but lively lineup that brings together Baracka, Ghage Maddis, Lavaman, Mr. Killa, and SandMan. Mr. Killa’s Jab Brutal is the obvious pull track here, with Lavaman’s Cap. 41, Ghage Maddis’ Cure for Horn, and Baracka’s Turn It Up adding their own jab-heavy angles to the set. The project leans into Grenadian carnival energy and keeps its identity rooted in the jab/jab-jab spirit, with each artist approaching the rhythm from a different side of the same mas-style groove.
