AUDI RIDDIM produced by UNDAGRUNG MUZIK GROUP 2021
Audi Overview
In the summer of 2021, the Audi Riddim bashment project arrived on the dancehall scene out of Jamaica, quickly catching the attention of selectors and fans alike. The project was powered by the production skills of UNDAGRUNG MUZIK GROUP, a team known for their sharp, modern dancehall sound. UNDAGRUNG MUZIK GROUP had already built a reputation for bringing raw, energetic riddims to the dancefloor, and Audi Riddim continued that streak. The line-up featured a group of artists who each brought their own style to the project. Cappa Flex delivered “Say Dem A Bad Man,” a track that showed off his commanding presence. Cappa Flex had previously made waves with his energetic performances and has been recognized in the local dancehall circuit for his lyrical delivery. Hit Dan came in strong with “Affi Mek A Mark,” a song that pushed his name further into the dancehall spotlight. Jahn Naddo’s “Enemies” added a serious tone, reflecting the struggles and rivalry often found in the genre. Jahn Naddo is also known for his earlier work in the Jamaican underground scene. Neutron Obliv’s “Live Life” brought a more uplifting message, while Rasta Neville’s “Champo” offered a roots-inspired touch, blending classic themes with the modern beat. Each song sat comfortably on the Audi Riddim, showing the versatility of the production. The Audi Riddim project proved how powerful yard studios remained in 2021. With UNDAGRUNG MUZIK GROUP at the controls, the bashment captured the raw energy that dancehall fans crave, making it a standout release of the year.
