With seven cuts and six different voices, Attack Riddim feels like a tidy 2008 one-riddim package rather than a sprawling compilation, and Blue Sky Productions keeps the focus on a lean lineup that moves from Devonte feat. Dan Lou’s “Whose Gonna Help You” to Frenzi’s pair of “Bruk Out” versions, with Lukie D’s “Harder They Come” giving the set its most familiar lift. The rhythm has that sturdy mid-2000s reggae push, straight and purposeful, leaving room for Ras Myrhdak on “Only The People” and Wasp’s “Attack Dem” to land without crowding each other, while the instrumental version at the end lets the pattern breathe on its own.
