Admiral Bailey
Admiral Bailey was born on January 24, 1952 to Glendon Bailey in Kingston 12 ghetto of Waterhouse, Jamaica. He started deejaying for URoy’s Sturgar Sound System but later on joined King Jammy’s in 1986. His career broke through that year with his dancehall riddims and famous military regalia. One of his early hits was ‘One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer which featured Chacka Demus. A year later his song ‘Punany’ raised him to become one of the top reggae superstars. Some of his hit releases include ‘Politician’, ‘chatty Chatty Mouth’, and ‘Ballot Box’.
His career had a slight decline before he resumed working with King Jammy in 1993 and this producer has been the backbone of his success.
