Riddim sits right in the thick of 2004’s club-ready dancehall run, when producers were chasing sharp hooks and hard-edged, sound-system-friendly cuts that could move both the dance and radio. The lineup is stacked with that era’s heavy hitters, but Vybz Kartel’s “Buddy Nuh Done” and Lady Saw’s “Endorse” give the riddim its sharpest contrast, while Elephant Man, Bounty Killer and Kiprich keep the energy brash and competitive across the set.
