Alter Ego Overview
The Alter Ego Riddim was built in the studio with a strong focus on traditional reggae sounds. The team behind the project wanted to keep the classic reggae structure alive, using live instruments and warm melodies. The roots selector guided the creative direction, making sure the riddim stayed true to its roots, while also bringing a fresh energy to the music. TJ RECORDS produced the riddim. This label is well-known in reggae and dancehall, with a history of working with top Jamaican artists. TJ RECORDS is led by producer Linton “TJ” White, who has produced hits for big names in the industry and helped shape the sound of modern reggae and dancehall. Several talented artists recorded on the Alter Ego Riddim. Christopher Martin Ft D Major delivered “Real Friends,” a song about loyalty and trust. Christopher Martin is known for hits like “Cheaters Prayer,” and his smooth voice brings emotion to the track. D Major also appears on “Real Friends.” He is respected for his songwriting and has worked with many artists in the reggae scene. Bugle contributed “Pearly Gate.” Bugle is known for his thoughtful lyrics and has released songs like “Rasta Party.” His style fits well with the conscious message of the riddim.
