ACTION RIDDIM produced by JAM 2 PRODUCTIONS 2011
Action Overview
The sound engineer behind Action Riddim played a big part in shaping its powerful sound. The heavy bass and clear mix made the riddim stand out at street dances in 2011. Every beat hit hard, giving the tracks a strong energy that people loved. JAM 2 PRODUCTIONS led the project. The label is known in Jamaica for producing dancehall hits and working with many top artists. JAM 2 PRODUCTIONS has a history of creating riddims that become favorites in the dancehall scene. Several artists brought their own style to Action Riddim. Bencil’s “Cut Inna Face” delivered sharp lyrics over the driving beat. Ishawna, who later became known for her hit “Equal Rights,” showed her strong presence on “Real Hot Gal.” Jam2, the producer and artist, added his own flavor with “Action Riddim.” Keida’s “Straight Action” kept the energy high, and Khago, who had success with songs like “Nah Sell Out,” gave fans “Board Room” on this riddim. Each artist used the riddim’s street anthem base to connect with the crowd. The Action Riddim’s mix of tradition and new sounds helped it become a favorite at street dances. Its hard-hitting bass and catchy melodies made sure it stayed popular in the dancehall community.
