Curry Stew Riddim comes in with a sharp, Trinidad-flavoured dancehall pulse, the kind of cut that keeps the percussion lively while the bass stays low and greasy enough for the dance. Black Starr Productions, TKS and Kickback line up seven artists across eight tracks, and the nicest spark here is the way Yung Bredda and GI ride “Scorpion” with a clipped, competitive energy, while Trinidad Killa turns “Hot Spot” into the project’s biggest hook-heavy moment.
