In 2015, roots reggae saw a fresh wave of creativity, and the El Toro Riddim was a strong part of this movement. The one drop base on El Toro Riddim stands out when compared to other collections from the same year. The result is a sound that feels both traditional and fresh. Abby Dallas delivers "Bratta Loving," showing the smooth vocal style that also made her song "No Ice Cream Love" a hit in Jamaica. Keishera James brings emotion to "Sorry," while Versatile energizes the collection with "Sound Di Alarm." Munga Honourable, known for his hit "Bad From Mi Born," offers a reflective moment with "Memories." D'Essence adds warmth on "Feels Like Fire." Other artists like Mad Rhymes with "Real Yute," Dominic with "Life I Know," Sabina with "Lets Talk," and Ruach Ru with "Who Am I" help round out the album, each track fitting into the roots reggae tradition. The culture arranger played a key role, making sure every song matched the riddim’s roots feeling.
