In 2008, when dancehall was still leaning hard on bruising one-riddim runs and quick-fire singles, Killa Beez Riddim came out of Keepleft Records with a compact, club-ready cut that leaned on the era’s raw-vs-clean formula. The lineup pairs Tami Chynn’s smoother approach with tougher turns from Leftside, Busy Signal and Tok, while Sean Paul and Bling Dawg keep the energy aimed straight at the dance. Keepleft also tucked in separate raw and edit versions for some of the biggest cuts, which tells you this was made with selectors in mind as much as radio, and the closing riddim version under Craig Leftside Parks seals it like a proper juggling tool.
