Slice Bread Riddim, also known as Ram One Riddim, came out in 1998 on Ram One Entertainment and was produced by Oniel Gotti Ramdeen. This dancehall juggling pulls in eight artists across six cuts, with Captain Barkey’s Been There And Done, Devonte’s Sleep With Me, Sean Paul’s Woman Yuh Hot and Daddy Screw and Pancho’s Sexual Anthem among the better-known selections. The lineup also features Bajie Man, Dukes and Tanisha, Elephant Man and Jimmy San, giving the set a sharp late-90s feel with both solo voices and a couple of paired performances. It’s a compact Ram One production from a period when Sean Paul and Elephant Man were beginning to make heavier crossover noise.
