Zesser Riddim (2019) – Lenz Records

Down in the 2019 dancehall churn, Lenz Records came through with a compact three-track cut that leans hard into raw party talk and sticky street energy. Potential Kidd’s “Jump On My C*#Ky” is the obvious hook, and it sits right in step with Mr Grills’ “Shot Inna Yuh Hole” and Trinidad Ghost’s “More Zessing, ” each voice riding the same taut, stripped-back pulse without crowding the riddim. Lenz keeps the frame lean and direct, letting the vocals do the provocations while the beat stays on its toes; it’s the kind of quick-hit release that feels like it was made for sound system play and little else. Just three tracks, but the mood gets across fast.
