His studio was famous for its high-quality sound and innovation in Jamaican music. The Yard Stylee Riddim featured strong performances from some of dancehall’s respected voices. Big Youth & Lexxus teamed up on “Things Friend,” bringing together Big Youth’s classic deejay style and Lexxus’s modern flair. Spragga Lexxus delivered “No Boasting,” adding his energetic flow—he is known for hits like “Living Dangerously” with Bounty Killer. Tanya Stephens brought her unique voice to “Workout;” she later became famous for her album “Gangsta Blues.” Tony Tuff’s “The Remedy” showed his veteran presence, known from his days with the African Brothers.
