WHY DID YOU LEAVE RIDDIM produced by BLESSED B MUZIK 2012

    Why Did You Leave Overview

Back in 2012, reggae fans got a special treat with a roots rhythm project that many still talk about today. This release brought together some of reggae’s most respected voices, each adding their own flavor to the music. The project was shaped by BLESSED B MUZIK, a producer known for letting roots reggae shine through his work. BLESSED B MUZIK has a steady hand in the reggae scene, with a history of supporting authentic sounds and working with well-loved artists. The arranger played a big role in making all the tracks flow together, blending dub culture and strong messages in each song. The recording process focused on live instruments and classic reggae grooves, giving the whole project a warm, deep sound. Each artist brought something special. Jc Lodge, who is famous for her 1985 hit "Someone Loves You Honey," delivered "Irie Vibes Tonight," a song full of positive energy. Vivian Jones And Carolene Thompson teamed up for "Kiss," mixing smooth vocals with heartfelt lyrics. George Nooks, known for his chart-topping cover of "Tribal War," shared "My Heart Is Pain," showing his soulful side. Peter Spence added "Love Has Made You Change," while Bunny And Rafeelya gave the project its title track, "Why Did You Leave," both bringing strong emotion and melody. Mikey General closed things out with "Guide Me," adding a spiritual touch. This 2012 riddim is still remembered for the way it brought artists together, each shaping the music with their voice and message.
