Werras Journey Riddim – Chillspot Records

Produced by Chillspot Records, Werras Journey Riddim is a 2015 ZimDancehall set that gathers a strong local cast around nine cuts, including Celscious’s Reggae, Delroy’s Why Now, Jah Bless’s Ndozvandiri and Tipsy’s Amai Makaita Rudo. The line-up also features names like Mostaff, G Brendan, Loud H and Maggikal, giving the riddim that familiar mid-2010s Harare studio feel that Chillspot helped define across the scene. It leans into the sharper, chant-ready side of ZimDancehall, with the kind of direct, street-level energy that made the label’s productions easy to recognise at the time.
