Amilli Records kept Victory Riddim tight and purpose-built in October 2019, lining up six tunes under a name that leaves little doubt about the theme. The set runs through a straight dancehall lane, with Dejour’s “Judgment” opening on a slower, weightier note before Ease Out’s “Alright” and Jae Prynse’s “Heart So Bloody” push the energy up. Nicha B’s “Hero” sits in the hardest pocket, while Rodney and Sunny King keep the message centered on winning, resilience, and forward motion. Jae Prynse feels like the tune to circle back to here, riding the riddim with the kind of sharp, urgent delivery that gives the whole project its edge. Seven tracks in all, including the album listing, and just over 21 minutes long, it’s a compact showcase with no wasted space.
