No Gimmicks Music leaned into pure soca energy here rather than the tougher dancehall approach the name might suggest, and Vibes Overload comes off like a fast-moving Carnival set with enough bounce to keep the road and party crowd locked in. Richie Loop’s “Road Trip” gives the riddim an easy front-end hook, while Timeka Marshall’s title cut and Revla’s “Raving Life” keep the pace lively over a bright, choppy pattern that’s more about motion than muscle.
