Mid-thought, this one comes in like a quick little three-cut dancehall set with no fat on it: Burro Banton’s “Food” gives the riddim its gruff veteran weight, while Uru’s “Smash Capitalism” pushes the title’s politics straight into the groove with a sharper, more confrontational edge. Sista Manu’s “Keep Calm” lands the mood on the cooler side, smoothing things out without losing the tension underneath. MH Record kept the whole thing tight in 2021, and at just three tracks the release feels more like a focused session than a full compilation. It also nods to that early-December 2021 wave of small-format digital riddims, when producers were leaning into concise one-riddim drops instead of packing everything into oversized packages.
