Power Icon Records keeps its 2021 run in motion with Caribbean Riddim, a six-song dancehall set that leans into sharp, party-ready cuts rather than an overstuffed rollout. The project runs just 16 minutes, and that tight runtime suits the way the songs move: Krusha’s “Easy” opens the circle, then Major Riley and D Icon push “Bumpa Shaking” into straight-up dancefloor territory before Norval, Randysign Boss and Savage each take their turn. There’s a good bit of swagger in the writing here, especially on “Sign Yuh” and “Whine Everytime, ” while Thug Famous and Brand Don close things out with “It’s a Robbery, ” giving the sequence a slightly rougher edge. The order feels intentional, like the label wanted a compact riddim run with a clean peak and a hard finish.
