Thriller Riddim – Thriller Music

Thriller Music didn’t pad this one out with a crowded cast; the 2002 Thriller Riddim keeps it tight with just Capleton and Mad Cobra riding the same cut, which gives the release a sharper edge than the usual all-star juggling act. Capleton’s “Hypocrite” is the kind of blunt, fire-and-brimstone tune that suits him perfectly, while Mad Cobra’s “Few Lines” leans into his clipped, confrontational style, and the production leaves plenty of room for both voices to cut through. It’s a compact reggae set, with the version sitting alongside the two vocal tracks, and that bare-bones setup makes the riddim itself feel like the point rather than a backdrop.
