Anthony Johnson’s “Mount Zion” gives the Reggae Remedy Riddim its spiritual center, and from there the whole cut feels like a small, dusty roots session with real weight behind it. Mike Brooks follows with “Wisdom, ” bringing that seasoned, early-’70s kind of singjay authority, while David Jahson’s “Ganja Tree” loosens things up with a more relaxed, smoky lilt. The production credit goes to Reggae Remedy, with Seni attached on the discography side, and the riddim’s lean 2002 setup keeps the focus on the voices rather than any extra ornament. Nico and Manjul close it out with a version, almost like a quiet nod at the end.
