Three Birds Riddim – Collumbium

Back in 2019, reggae was still leaning hard on compact digital riddims with a small-circle vocal lineup, and Three Birds Riddim from Collumbium fits that moment neatly. The release keeps the cast focused: Chavez Illmatiq opens with “Run Around, ” Chikethekhemist returns on “Changes” and the closing instrumental, and Rajaheim Nephilim’s “Star” adds the third voice to the set. Collumbium was already building a lane for itself by the time this came out, and that sense of intent comes through in the sequencing. Rather than stacking the instrumental at the front or burying it, the riddim leaves it for last, so the vocal cuts get the first say and the producer gets the final word.
