THE STAG RIDDIM PT.2 – 1ST KLASE RECORDS 2014
The Stag Overview
The Stag Riddim is a special soca rhythm that fans still remember from Carnival 2021. Even though it was first released in 2014, the energy of this project came alive again during the 2021 celebrations. The sound is a lively mix of soca with hints of dancehall and pop, making it perfect for parties and street parades. This riddim features strong performances from some of soca’s top names. Bunji Garlin brings his powerful style to “Gi Dem Dey.” Bunji Garlin is known for his international hit “Differentology,” which won him the 2013 Soul Train Award for Best International Performance. Lyrikal adds his voice to “Party Nuh Done,” a song that keeps the party going with its catchy hooks and smooth delivery. Jaiga Ft Shal Marshall team up for “Juice,” and Shal Marshall also shines on his own version, “Juice — Juice.” Shal Marshall is a well-known radio personality and soca artist from Trinidad. Olatunji’s “Wha Yuh Drinkin” adds even more flavor, showing his unique singing style. Olatunji is recognized for winning the 2015 Soca Monarch title with his song “Ola.” The sound of the Stag Riddim was crafted by 1st Klase Records, who are known for producing many popular soca tracks.
