The Change Riddim (2013) – Duble R Studio

Low-key pressure. Duble R Studio keeps The Change Riddim moving on a tight three-track soca set, and the small lineup gives the whole thing a sharp, no-frills feel. Andon’s “Change The Life 2k13” opens with the kind of urgent lift you want from a 2013 carnival-side cut, while Konokoega Head Bad’s “I Think About Song Everyday” leans into a more playful chant-and-drive approach. Macrophage closes it out with “My Way, ” and that’s the cut that hangs back a little longer, thanks to its confident delivery and cleaner melodic push. As a whole, the riddim sits in that brisk, lightly tuneful lane where the percussion does the talking, and Duble R Studio lets each voice keep its own corner. Macrophage’s “My Way” leaves the strongest imprint here.
