Summer Vibes Riddim (2021) – Romeich Entertainment

Summer Vibes Riddim came out in 2021 from Romeich Entertainment, the Kingston-based dancehall camp led by Romeich Major, whose imprint has been closely tied to a modern, club-ready sound and to names like Ding Dong and Shenseea. By this point the label had already become one of the more visible Jamaican outfits working the crossover lane between street dancehall, radio play and big social-media moments.

This riddim is pure summer energy, but not in a soft way. The cuts sit on a bright, bounce-heavy groove that pushes movement first: fast enough for dancing, clean enough for daylight radio, and still rowdy when the raw versions open it up. Ding Dong’s “Summer Vibes” is the obvious anchor, built for his dance-led style and his long-running reputation as one of dancehall’s most physical performers. I Waata’s “Wild Out” brings that younger, rougher Portmore energy he’s known for, while Jah Vinci’s “Road! ! ! ” adds a melodic contrast with his smoother, more emotional delivery.

Skinny Fabulous is another strong pull here. The St. Vincent soca star brings Carnival heat to “Party Nice, ” which is why the project leans so naturally into a regional party feel instead of staying boxed inside Jamaica alone. Supreem’s “Stay Firm, ” Liquid and Badda General’s “Con Artist, ” and Trever Off Key’s “Oh Oh Yeah” fill out the juggling with different shades of hype, from cheeky to streetwise. It’s a short riddim with a clear mission: get bodies moving and keep the energy locked for the season.
