Out of Jamaica’s 2013 reggae-riddim run, Storm Riddim comes in as a compact Drop Di Bass set with just five cuts, keeping the focus on the songs rather than on a crowded lineup. Von’s “Storm” leads the charge, while Yos turns in “No Never, ” Mad Anju brings the sharper edge on “Hypocrite, ” and Mikey Tenna’s “More And More” keeps the vibe moving before the instrumental closes things out. That last track is a useful touch, letting the riddim breathe on its own and showing off the bare framework underneath the vocals. Drop Di Bass handled the production credit across the project, with Andree Lee also listed on the instrumental version.
