Squeaky Clean Riddim – Team Upgrade

Team Upgrade keeps Squeaky Clean Riddim in that taut, late-2010s dancehall pocket where the drums snap hard and the bass stays lean, leaving room for the voices to do the damage. The set lines up Gage, Vetta, Susboss, Mister Core, Kongoman Ash, Chancela and Bad Spurr across eight cuts, with the instrumental tucked in at the end to let the riddim speak for itself. There’s a sharp, almost clipped energy running through the project, and the titles alone tell you it’s aimed squarely at street-ready dancehall rather than anything soft around the edges. Gage’s “Swear” and Bad Spurr’s “Clip Load a Shot” sit closest to the raw center of it, while Chancela’s “Summa Deh Yah” brings a little more bounce to the table before the instrumental closes the circle.
