Smile For The World Riddim – Adde Production

In 2014’s Kingston dancehall run, Smile For The World Riddim came out as a compact little set from Adde Productions and 21st Hapilos, with Alkaline, Denyque, Jah Vinci and Butta each taking a turn over the same bright, catchy cut. Alkaline’s “Never End” is the one that jumps out first, especially with the raw-and-clean split giving it extra reach, while Denyque’s title tune leans more uplifting and melodic, the kind of hook that sticks after one spin. Jah Vinci keeps things moving with “Do It Again, ” and the instrumental at the end leaves the riddim hanging in a neat, stripped-back way, almost like an afterthought.
