Chainlinxxx Productions kept the Sin City Riddim tight and lean in 2021, rolling out just five cuts and letting the voices do the talking. Marlo’s “Haters” has that sharp, street-ready bite you want from a dancehall juggernaut, while Jabi’s “Duppy You” leans into the spooky side of the title with a little more menace and attitude. Renzo’s “Breed” is the sneaky highlight for me, all muscle and momentum, and the closing pairing of Azkel and Chappa on “Axio” adds a quick burst of chemistry before it’s done. It’s a compact set, no dead weight, released on May 28, 2021, and it sits neatly in that early-2020s wave of gritty, no-frills dancehall drops.
