G Music Group’s Sign Shifter Riddim goes straight to the carnival pocket, leaning into bright soca energy rather than any heavy-handed studio trickery. It’s a tiny three-track set, but that keeps the focus on the mood: Devon Flanders’ “Play Ah Mas” has the kind of road-ready feel you want in the middle of the season, while Master J’s “Grenadian Colors” brings a local pride angle that gives the project a bit more personality.
