Sex Talk Riddim – T3m Music

Chaps’ “Climax” feels like the sharper hook on Sex Talk Riddim, a compact two-track dancehall set from T3M Music that doesn’t waste any time getting to the point. The cut leans into a cheeky, bedroom-focused vibe, with Chaps riding the riddim in a way that sounds a little more urgent and playful than Donai Singleton’s “Mek She Cry, ” which keeps the same theme but pushes it through a rougher, more taunting angle. T3M Music keeps the arrangement lean, and that sparseness suits both voices, letting the vocal phrasing do most of the talking while the rhythm stays tight underneath. It’s a quick little 2016 release, only two songs deep, but it has that kind of stripped-down dancehall directness that sticks.
