The Sankie Riddim appeared in 2010 and quickly became a favorite during that year’s Carnival celebrations. Produced by PARRY JACK PRODUCTIONS, the riddim brought a fresh energy to soca music. This release featured strong performances from Fireman Hooper, Jamesy P, and Luta. Fireman Hooper, one of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ most recognized soca artists, is well known for his hit song “Rum Meeting.” On the Sankie Riddim, he delivered “Holy Fire,” a track full of excitement and Carnival spirit. Jamesy P, famous for his international soca hit “Nookie,” added his own flavor with “Sankie Pan Dem.” His experience and catchy style helped the riddim reach more listeners across the region.
